They checked the Serial number of the card, and said the card status online was 'dead at arrival' in 2017 itself. I felt horribly cheated, then the service center guy told me to talk to original seller he may be. No need to registration because GIGABYTE determines warranty based on the manufacture date. The manufacture date can be verified by the serial number found on the product. The first four digits after 'SN' determine the year and week of manufacturing date,Graphic Accelerator Cards (VGA) o All graphic cards carry a 3 year warranty. Missing serial numbers are bad. A pawn shop won’t even buy something with a missing serial number. I don’t like the concept of putting a serial number on something that is removable or changeable. Car companies put the automobile VIN in numerous hidden places. A card manufacturer might do the same thing.
